Schmidt earns part of his income by working for PECHANGA.net, the Internet news source for Indian, gaming, and Indian gaming news. He earns another part of his income by writing for Indian and gaming publications: Casino Journal, Indian Gaming Business, etc. He has been writing pro-Indian articles and stories since 1990, long before gaming became an issue.
BlueCornComics.com is hosted through the generosity of PECHANGA.net. That website is wholly owned and operated by Victor Rocha, an enrolled member of the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians. PECHANGA.net receives part of its income from gaming advertisers, but is independent of the Pechanga tribe.
