America's Exceptional Values
(3/26/01)

A response to America's Exceptional Values:

>> You liberal whiners howl about "racism," but you still want modern conveniences. <<

Yes. And you right-wing, racist ignoramuses don't?

I "pay" for my modern conveniences by living a relatively austere lifestyle. And by paying taxes without whining about how high they are. And by voting for candidates who favor environmental protection. And by stumping for change in our cultural values, as with this message and website.

How about you?

By the way, you're the only one who seems to be whining here. Wipe your tears, you big baby. Try taking responsibility for the world's problems rather than blaming someone thousands of miles away.

>> OK, ask yourselves this: How did the Ozone layer become depleted in the first place? Who did that? Hmmm, must have been some Great inventor! Why is the world in "the worst ecological state it has ever been in since the beginning of time"? Whos in charge? <<

Uhhhhh, the United States? I believe every recent American leader has declared we're the last remaining superpower. I'd say that puts us in charge.

>> Why dont you ask all of those spics, mixed breeds and niggers down in Brazil who are chopping down the rain forest? <<

If you didn't know, most people from Portugal and Spain are Caucasians. That explains why many Brazilians are white, including many of their leaders. And people in general are chopping down trees not to build treehouses for themselves, but to build rec rooms and pool decks for doofuses like you.

>> Why dont you ask all of those sub-humans to stop breeding like flies so the natural resources of their respective countries wont be depleted so rapidly? <<

Okay, why don't you stop breeding like a fly?

Oh, you mean other "subhumans." Why don't you ask them yourself? You're a lot closer to the subhuman set than I am.

>> Why dont you ask all of those turd world dictators to stop strip mining and poisoning the rivers and lakes of their countries with toxins? <<

I'll do that right after you ask their American counterparts the same thing.

>> Why dont you ask all of those stupid niggers in Africa to rotate their crops so they wont deplete the soil and contribute to erosion and desert expansion? <<

Ditto. (Ever hear about a little thing called the Dust Bowl?)

>> Why dont you ask Mother Nature to stop letting all of those volcanoes from belching toxins into the atmosphere? <<

Um, because Mother Nature isn't a real person? Because volcanoes don't cause global warming, much less ozone depletion? Because humans are releasing greenhouse gases on a massive scale and Americans are responsible for 26% of that?

>> Why dont you ask all of the third world hellholes to stop burning all of that filthy ass coal into the air? <<

That's even more ironically stupid than your usual. The US is one of the largest coal-burning countries, if not the largest. We've spurned nuclear energy, which other countries use freely, and alternative energy sources such as solar, wind, and geothermal.

>> Why dont we put our foot down and tell the Japs to fuck off and buy up all the timber in China and Korea instead of the American Northwest? <<

A Chinese or Korean tree is as good as an American tree. Or are you prejudiced against foreign trees, too?

But you finally have the semblance of a point—besides the one on your head, I mean. Yes, Japan, as an industrialized country, shouldn't waste natural resources any more than we do.

>> Let me guess. Its all the White mans fault, right? <<

Hell, yes. Are you really as ignorant as you seem? For all your stupidly racist utterances, the United States and other industrialized countries consume something like 75% of the world's resources, even though they have only 10-20% of the world's population. Educate yourself about the basic global facts before you waste any more of my time.
