Stereotype of the Month Entry
(5/28/00)

Another response to the Stereotype of the Month entry on Howard Stern, Son of a Beach:

>> The IMDB lists David Morgasen, Timothy Stack and James R. Stein as the writers. Shouldn't you be directing your righteous indignation at them?

Or would that not get you as much attention? <<

Nope. I'm pretty sure Stern is the originator, the producer, or both. I'm even more sure Son of the Beach wouldn't be on the air if Stern weren't backing it. Unless someone else has the final say on what airs, he's the proper one to blame.

Let's pause while I check.

Yep, the IMDB lists Howard Stern as an executive producer and the production company as Howard Stern Productions. Gee, I wonder who makes the decisions? The writers? I don't think so.

Case closed.
