Which Sports Did Native People Invent?

The indigenous people of the Americas invented or developed ten athletic activities that are now Olympics (summer or winter) events. Name them.

Hint: People around the world engaged in such sporting activities as foot races, throwing contests, and wrestling matches. As one article noted, sports based on weapons shouldn't count either. People around the world "first threw rocks for survival then sport, which evolved into the shot put. Spear throwing became the javelin, and then bow and arrow became universally adopted as the art of archery." The Native American inventions go beyond these.
