Kennewick Man, Captain Picard, and Political Correctness

Another response to a Stereotype of the Month Entry about Kennewick Man:

I agree. Even if the "Capt. Picard" reconstruction were completely accurate—which I don't think it is—I don't think you can say he looks more Caucasian than Asian-Amerindian.

People were obviously swayed by the model's bald pate. If had been a computer drawing with a full head of hair, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
