Party Line Talk Show (1/27/00)
Selected comments from host Joe Delaronde's phone interview with Rob Schmidt, writer and publisher, and Steve Russell (Cherokee), advisor, professor, and judge:

A first, I believe....Something that has maybe been a little overdue.

Joe Delaronde

Steve Russell

Native people have a very well-developed sense of humor...and I'm so glad that some of this gets to be shown.

Joe Delaronde

I'd like to see this pick up and flow into popular culture, so that more people would understand that Indians are here today and we're not all riding horses and chasing buffalo.

Steve Russell

We...hope that when issue #100 comes out, that people are looking at issue #1 like the first Superman comic.

Joe Delaronde
