Prayer in the Bush League
(2/23/01)

Dear Rob,

I've known for some time what a zealot Bushie is and this fact really depresses me. I have to agree with you that he is dangerous. I read some of the messages you got regarding Bushie from Kerchee. I have to disagree with him about Texas. I "lived" there between 1978 and 1984. They had compulsory (Baptist) prayer in school in one of the towns I worked in (Anahuac, about 25 miles from Huston and 150 years in the past) in spite of the law. Texas was the only place I've ever been called a "redbone". Bushie is going to promote this mindset as much as he is able. God help us if he appoints another supreme!
