Pueblo gets solar-powered Internet
San Ildefonso: Internet service powered by sunSunshine provides the power for Tewacom Wireless' new high-speed Internet service.
Launched in 2006 to a few pueblo homes, San Ildefonso Enterprise Corporation's solar-powered wireless service proved itself during the historic year-end storm that shut down most of Northern New Mexico, said Tewacom manager Laurence Peña. The service is now ready for the market, he said.
