"Indian Pride" on TV
American Indian culture series begins Friday on PPTVAn American Indian magazine series, a 13-part production called “Indian Pride” produced by Prairie Public Broadcasting, will premiere at 8 p.m. Friday on Prairie Public Television and air over several months.
Each episode will feature mini-documentaries shot on location at events on reservations and around other parts of Indian country.
In-studio segments will show nationally known American Indian guests discussing issues, and they will depict original and cultural performances featuring traditional and contemporary artists and storytellers.
