Obviously you don't have a clue what the U.S. government really did to Native people. If you did, you could never be so heartless as to say Native people are undeserving of a few checks. Indeed, a"few checks" hardly begins to count for just compensation.
I hope you're referring to the person I criticized and not me. I hope you clicked the link and found out what this posting is really about.
I did indeed jump the gun by simply latching onto the words themselves, and not reading the link. (I did mention in another post that I'm a hairtrigger sometimes!). I made the comment in haste and hope you will accept my sincere apology. Actually, I have spent a couple of days browsing this site and it seems to be a very admirable thing you are doing. And, yes, after seeing your post, I did click on the original link. I see now I had the right sentiment, but directed at the wrong target. My humble apologies.
No problem. When I summarize a Stereotype of the Month entry, I have to do it in 10 or so words. Sometimes there isn't enough room to indicate it's one person's opinion or to put an ironic spin on it.
