That ad has to be taking place in the UK, judging from the countryside and the people who watch the Natives ride past. What little wisdom there is lies in the fact that Brits, Scots, and the Irish love 'the Red Indians', and so for that TV audience, the ad would be an eyecatcher. What is unclear is what possibly could be aboard such trains that would draw Native interest, surrealism not withstanding.
But hey, call up G.W. at 1-88L-AME-DUCK and convince him to run AmTrak ads that show Irish terrorists trying to blow up the Heartland Flyer between Oklahoma City and Dallas. Then see how long it takes for the IRA and Sinn Fein and Tony Blair to ring us up and complain.
writerfella can see the UK tabloid headlines now: "DIRTY AMERICAN BASTARDS MALIGN OUR NATIONAL HONOR" and "BRITISH RAIL RUNS LATE AFTER AMERICAN CALUMNY" and "MADONNA ADOPTS TWO-HEADED ORKNEY ISLAND ORPHAN".
